Step into a people-focused role where your customer service skills and caring nature really matter. As a Village Security & Wellbeing Officer, you’ll be the friendly, reassuring presence that helps our residents feel safe, welcome and supported in their home away from home.
Working a 14-nights on / 14-nights off roster, you’ll combine customer service, community care and safety – making sure everyone can relax, recharge and feel looked after after their shift. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced people who love helping others and building connections.
Key Responsibilities
- Be a visible, approachable presence around the village – greeting residents and checking in on how they’re going
- Carry out regular safety and security patrols with a strong focus on resident experience
- Monitor CCTV and manage access to secure areas while keeping people informed and at ease
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and emergencies, offering reassurance and support
- Complete clear security and wellbeing reports
- Help create a culturally safe, inclusive and respectful environment for all residents
- Ensure compliance with site safety and security protocols in a friendly, easy-to-understand way

About You
You may come from hospitality, retail, community services, health, customer service or caring roles. We value your life experience, communication skills and ability to look after others more than a perfect CV.
We’re looking for people who:
- Hold or a WA Security Licence (with our support)
- Hold a Crowd Controller licence
- Have exposure to ICAM usage
- Hold First Aid and CPR
- Have a WA C Class Driver’s Licence
- Communicate well and bring a warm, calm, respectful approach
- Are interested in supporting mental health and wellbeing (Mental Health First Aid is a bonus)
