The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Boilermakers to join our team for a Greenfields construction project in the Pilbara. The project involves the development of an iron ore construction of a crushing and screening plant and associated infrastructure, including accommodation village, workshops, offices and fuel facilities.
- 3/1 roster on a permanent contract
- Perth point of hire
- Caravan motel style accommodation
- Attractive base rate plus penalties, with additional site allowances, severance and project completion bonuses
- Strong pipeline of 2 years worth of work
Key Responsibilities:
- MMAW & MIG welding (AS1554 Part 1 compliant).
- Read, interpret, and install structures and mechanical equipment in accordance with P&ID drawings and structural marking plans.
- Assemble prefabricated metal parts into large structures on-site.
- Welding and joining handrails and grating inside steel structures.
- Repair cracked or damaged components.
- Assisting mechanical fitting teams with installing conveyor idlers, hard skirts and dust covers.
- Assist Electrical Boilermaker to fabricate cable trays.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience working within the mining, construction and resources industry
- Experience in Electrical Boilermaking and Pipefitting.
Tickets and Licenses
- Australian Recognised Cert III in Engineering (Fabrication) Trade Certificate
- HRWL – EWP
- Working at Heights within 2 years
- Construction White Card
- National Police clearance (12 months)
